In 2002 Mariel established the firm at the suggestion of a client.

 

The practice is focused on the needs of a small number of organisations and individuals.  We provide a highly responsive and dedicated personal service.

Mariel Has written two books: 

a Practical Guide to Vicarious Liability (2018) and a Practical Guide to the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 (2019). She is writing a third on data breach litigation.

​

The 2022 annual edition of Rail Professional published her article on the data protection implications of CCTV on the railway.

 

Westlaw invited her to submit an extended article on the 2013 Act to Westlaw Insight, an online encyclopedia of UK law. She has contributed to Tolley’s Manual on Health and Safety Law.

​

Mariel has written a number of articles on defending occupational disease claims and also disease group litigation. They have been published in Post Magazine, the International Insurance Law Review, Railway Strategies and other periodicals.

​
